Jerusalem Terror Attack

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

Details are still coming in but a short time ago there was a terror attack in downtown Jerusalem. The attack occurred outside the Binyanei Hauma, the international convention center. Bit close to home since I was about to head over there. The registration for the Jerusalem Marathon is taking place there now and there is a running expo at the same time.

Thousands of my fellow runners are around the area. Everyone is looking forward to Friday’s first ever full 42 kilometer Jerusalem race.

Earlier, I had e-mailed a friend who is an emergency doc in Jerusalem to ask his advice about an injury. Now instead of dealing with a runner’s question, he is working on the casualties of the bomb.

Do I have words of wisdom or insight? No.

Bastards.
